AC/DC Take Over Proud Camden Gallery
Join Us As We Celebrate AC/DC’s Two-Night Stand At O2
For Those About To Rock,
It’s been one hell of a long way to the top since the first AC/DC gig in London, back in 1976 at the Red Cow, to the band’s upcoming pair of sold out shows at the O2 Arena. Fortunately, there were some dedicated folks like Aussie rock photographer Philip Morris, who, with camera in hand, had the good sense (and good eye) to capture the historic first years of AC/DC’s climb to the top.
Now, the hard work is paying off in a big way for fans.
On April 15, a night after AC/DC blow the roof off O2 Arena and a day before they blast the walls down and finish the job, we’re taking over the Proud Camden Gallery and hosting a full-day private viewing of the Philip Morris’s AC/DC: Let There Be Rock exhibition.
Featuring high voltage shots of the band during its early years, AC/DC: Let There Be Rock has been met with praise from critics and awe from fans, and hailed as “priceless, featuring enough testosterone… to launch a nuclear warhead” by The Guardian.
Want in? All you have to do is show-up at Proud Camden on April 15 with your Fan Club laminate or your ticket (or proof of purchase) to either of AC/DC’s concerts at O2 Arena.
The viewing will take place from 11AM to 5:30PM and, along with enjoying the exhibition, you’ll have a chance to pick-up swag in our temporary Let There Be Rock shop that won’t be available at the O2 Arena shows. And, when you’re done, you can retire to Proud Camden’s notorious bar, converted from an old horse hospital (but still home to a few wild bucks) and surround yourself in all directions with the biggest and baddest Acca Dacca fans in the land.
Whether you’re pulling the AC/DC doubleheader and searching for a good time in between shows, looking to learn more about the early days of AC/DC, or just going for a goodtime with good company, we hope you’ll join us at Proud Camden on April 15 for one hell of party.
